Sanitation Facilities

Due to ongoing rains, numerous households and IDP camps have faced displacement, necessitating relocation to flood-free areas. Recognizing the urgent need for sanitation facilities, AFDAN has undertaken the construction of eight toilets at relocation sites in Belet Weyne.

These facilities are specifically for the displaced households in the IDP relocation site. This initiative aims to ensure sanitation safety and promote human dignity among the relocated families.

By providing adequate sanitation facilities, AFDAN is helping to prevent disease outbreaks and improve the overall living conditions for displaced persons. The households relocated to the  site have expressed their appreciation for AFDAN’s efforts in addressing their urgent needs.
