These programs focus on ensuring access to clean water and sanitation facilities, promoting hygiene behavior change to prevent disease transmission, and providing emergency shelters during times of crisis.

Shelter

Shelter Programs

Our Shelter Programs focus on providing emergency shelters and sustainable housing solutions to displaced populations and vulnerable communities. Access to safe and secure shelter is essential for the well-being of communities, especially in times of crisis.

Food

Food Security & Livelihood

Our Food Security & Livelihoods program focuses on ensuring access to nutritious food and sustainable livelihood opportunities. Through initiatives such as nutrition programs, cash transfers, and the distribution of non-food items, we empower individuals and families to achieve food security and economic stability.

Gender

Protection & GBV Awareness

Protecting vulnerable individuals, particularly women and children, is a core focus of AFDAN’s work. We raise awareness about gender-based violence (GBV) through education and advocacy efforts and implement safeguarding measures to prevent harm. Additionally, we provide safe spaces and counseling services to support those affected by violence and abuse.

Climate

Climate Change

We recognize the urgent need to address climate change and its impacts. We are committed to environmental conservation efforts, including sustainable land management practices and tree planting activities. By promoting environmental stewardship, we aim to mitigate the effects of climate change and create a healthier planet for future generations.

Development

Inclusive Development

Inclusive development lies at the heart of AFDAN’s mission. We strive to empower marginalized groups, including youth, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and women, by offering economic empowerment programs and skill-based education initiatives. Through these efforts, we aim to create a more equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
